CISO Africa Summit 2012
Integrated Security to Protect Information & Technology Assets in Business & Government 20 23 November 2012, Vineyard Spa Hotel, Cape Town
MIS Training Institute is delighted to announce the
CISO Africa Summit, taking place 20-23 November in Cape Town. The CISO Africa Summit is a pan-African meeting of directors of information security, ICT, corporate security, risk, cyber crime, ICT investigations and audit.
Expanding MIS' well-established CISO Summits EMEA and building on recent ICT Security Africa Summits, the CISO Africa Summit focuses on the current challenges of information security, cyber security and incident response. The direction and challenges for the information security profession; increased cyber crime & threats; consumerization of technology; continued economic pressures and the need to evidence the adding of business value from security roles will provide a constant stream throughout discussions.
The overall event objective is to drive new thinking; question what the future holds; assess current threats and learn how peers are preparing to defend tomorrow's information security landscape. Develop a vision, scope, policy, principles, standards and approaches to guide information risk and security management and the business continuity programme with senior peers from across Africa.
